Flexible routes leading to a recommendation to Qualified Teacher Status may be just the opportunity you are looking for. Courses in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are designed to suit your individual commitments, qualifications and experience.

A wide range of financial support is available. Starting dates are flexible.

Have you considered training as a Secondary School teacher?

  • Places are available on full-time PGCertificate Courses leading to recommendations for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • 36 week courses are in English, Information and Communication Technology, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages (French, German, French and German, or French with Spanish), Physical Education and Science

 

Both PGCertificate courses will enable you to gain 60 masters level credits, that on completion of the course you could transfer to pursue a masters degree course (subsequent to exemption criteria)


We also offer 4 year full-time
BSc (Hons) Secondary Education and Physical Education leading to recommendation for QTS.

For Professional Educators
Doctor of Education (EdD) – September 2007
From 4 years part-time with flexible attendance at all levels and all contexts. A taught doctorate aimed at experienced professionals in schools and colleges at senior and middle management levels, teachers and lecturers in adult and higher education, educational administrators in local and national government, education inspectors, youth and community work and social work personnel.
